Riding & Road Safety test

This test is mandatory between C and C+ test. Riders have to be 12 years old. See Junior Road Rider booklet to refresh your memory! Available from the shop. There is also a DVD well worth watching. Our branch has one and we could watch it together at our fun day and practice again during our hack to the beach. Check this for a start and bring your high viz to the fun day hack and the test.

This event consists of a rally and RRS training from 1 to 2.30 followed by the RRS test from 2.30 to 4 approx.

As we already held the RRS exam in January, few of our members need to pass it or are old enough for it. Hence we are opening the rally held beforehand, from 1 to 2.30, to all C riders and D+ riders over 12 years of age. Jill Moran will be instructing and examining afterwards.

Cost €15 for rally only, €20 for rally and RRS exam. And no, you can’t do just the exam for €5.

Jill Moran needs no introduction! She has taught generations of pony clubbers in Kerry and Limerick and her face is recognized at all shows! Her wisdom and insight are invaluable.
